Okuma Unveils New 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center & New CNC Lathe
Ideal for complex, multi-sided machining, the new MU-6300V Vertical Machining Center (VMC) offers a variety of spindle options to accommodate your most challenging 5-axis jobs. Rear of machine pallet loading enables easy connection to a pallet pool or Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS).
Okuma’s proprietary Thermal-Friendly Concept is built into the MU-6300V so you will achieve consistent results regardless of ambient temperature conditions. The highly rigid and accurate double column structure plus a low center of gravity in workpiece movement enables both heavy-duty cutting and high-speed finishing. The addition of the optional Super-NURBS function provides high speed rates and ultra-fine finishes, thus reducing the need to hand polish molds.
