This brief video shows an automated cell incorporating an Okuma GENOS L300-M CNC machine tool enhanced by seven members of Okuma’s Partners in THINC that collaborated to solve a customer’s manufacturing problem.

Gosiger Automation integrated the various components including a KUKA Agilus KR 6 R900 industrial robot equipped with Schunk grippers that loads and unloads parts, a Renishaw Equator gauging system that provides in-process parts measurements for quality assurance, and Caron Engineering’s Autocomp software that uses the Equator data to automatically update tool offsets.
