Women in Manufacturing Roundtable Convenes at Gosiger Dayton Campus
Gosiger Dayton recently hosted the Women in Manufacturing Roundtable, welcoming 25 members to the employment-focused event.
The speaker lineup featured three dynamic individuals from Ohio Job and Family Services:
- John Spencer, State of Ohio Workforce Specialist
- Maria Goeser, Greene County One Stop Workforce Specialist
- Marie Davis, Montgomery County Employer Services Coordinator
Roundtable discussion was centered around locating employees through ODJFS, including employment programs, on the job training assistance and financial assistance to employers that hire displaced workers.
Participants were provided with in depth information regarding employment programs, assistance with the documentation requirements and funds available for 2013 from the unemployment department.
